Bogart

He is legend.

Bogart has proven to be a natural show dog.

Bogart’s first AKC points were earned on June 21, 2018, one day shy of 13 months of age, and it took only eight days for him to earn his AKC Championship on June 29, 2018. He continued to earn points toward his Grand Championship through several Best-of-Breed wins and Terrier Group placements, earning him Bronze Status. Bogart earned the prestigious AKC Grand Championship on the first day of the prestigious Montgomery Cluster where he was “In the Ribbons” all four days, earning five points each of the four days.

In February of 2020, Bogart went to New York City for his first Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, where he was shown on national television during the breed judging — the night before the televised group broadcast — and earned an Award of Merit. Richard Schimel, author of the “Dog Up! Fraternity of Lou”, said of Bogart: “I was able to be ringside at the Sealyham judging at the Westminster Dog Show. I think Bogart is one of the most beautiful Sealyham Terriers I have ever seen.”

At the world famous Crufts show in England in March of 2020, Bogart was selected by the internationally-renowned animal sculptor, Louise Jarvis, as the subject for her commissioned piece. The sculpture is treasured in our homes. We love how Louise describes Bogart in one of her progress videos here.

Bogart has been a great friend and family member since the day he came to live with us in Virginia. It was an honor when Lisa asked us to adopt him.
